Small Business Event Ideas
Over the Summer, we hosted our first ever Princess Party! This was an event that we have been dreaming up for months and we had the best time putting it together!
As a bakery, it has been hard trying to come up with ideas on how to include our customers in what we do on a daily basis. We have really started to branch out over the last two years and come up with fun ways to let our customers experience their own little slice of Sweet Stirrings!

Our goal with this event was to get people into our doors and for them to meet our team in a fun and inviting way! Not only are events like this a way to market our small business, but it has been a powerful way to build brand awareness, strengthen our customer relationships, and create meaningful connections within our community! If you are a small business owner and are looking for ways to boost visibility for your business, host an event like this where you invite people into your space and just focus on having conversation in a fun, stress free way!
Okay! On to the princess stuff! As avid princess lovers, we wanted all the little girls to be able to meet their favorite princesses, so we had five different princesses ready to take pictures and interact with the girls!
There were multiple craft options for the girls to choose from! They were able to make their own Princess crowns, wands or mirrors! We also had a cookie decorating station with sprinkles which ,of course, was everyone's favorite!
During the event, there was a princess story time where Snow White read a story about herself and her friends The Seven Dwarfs! We ended the event with lots of pictures and the little princesses who came to the event got their own custom picture cookie to bring home!
